Unbelievable

Le Giant Douche, aka Michael Moore, just said that Hurricane Gustav is proof that there is a god. Are you effing kidding me? Stop listening to anything this 'man' has to say.

Choices, Choices

I could either pontificate on Barack Obama's historic speech tonight. Or, I can link to a silly thing. Hmm, let me think. Hmm....Silly thing!

(Oh, and I thought it was a good speech. Didn't agree with all of it, but did agree with enough of it, and it was very well written and delivered.)

Correlation equals causation, right?

First, the map of all the countries that don't use the metric system. Second, the map of all the countries that have put a man on the moon, plus two other random ones. Compare and contrast. via reddit.

Don't say anything

John Cusack interviews Naomi Klein (via Cato-at-Liberty), and I nearly barf. Why does anyone take this woman seriously? Among many other dishonesties/misunderstandings, she actually blames the coup in Chile on Milton Friedman. Really? He was involved in the advising of Pinochet years after the fact, but using that to blame him for Pinochet would be like if Obama becomes President and so we blame him for the Iraq invasion and occupation.
